Prior to founding Premier, Ryan was a portfolio manager for the past 6 years at Perennial Partners, one of Australia’s leading private growth and pre-IPO fund investors. During that time, Ryan co-founded Perennial’s private to public and private growth market strategies.

He was instrumental in establishing three pre-IPO funds, and a dedicated private growth fund.

Ryan has cultivated strong relationships with Australia's VC and PE funds, corporate advisers, and entrepreneurs, giving him access to a robust pipeline of high-quality companies. His expertise includes fund operations, where he developed systems to manage a large investment portfolio, and investment diligence, leading or participating in over 25 successful deals. He has also provided strategic advice and Board representation, contributing to IPOs, trade sales, and secondary sales.

Before Perennial, Ryan worked in investment banking, hedge fund investing, and investment management, focusing on listed and private technology and industrial companies.
